| Imagine for a minute, you're ill and you have childcare challenges. Hard to imagine isn't it? We want to give these special Moms one less thing to worry about.
We can't prove it, but we believe by giving these Moms a Moment, we can contribute to their positive and speedy recovery.
This program offers free childcare assistance to Moms in Cancer Treatment.
How does it work?
We locate private sponsors and donors to pay for the Sitter.
Are membership fees applicable?
No, however we do ask that sponsors pay a small daily placement fee. The fee is necessary for administrative purposes.
How can I become involved?
Simply give us a call with either someone you'd like to sponsor or if you'd like to provide a donation.
I know a Mom in Cancer Treatment, can I sponsor her?
Absolutely!
Where do you find your Moms?
All over. We've let the local cancer centers, and various foundations know of our existence. Additionally, Moms find our about us via word of mouth.
My friend really doesn't need childcare, but a good hard clean to her home would be great. Can you assist with that?
Yes, we can. We work with cleaning services, which will go to the home and assess the assignment. Once they do that, Mommy Moments or one of our sponsors will pick up the cost.
What about transportation to and from treatment centers? That can sometimes be a challenge also.
Presently, we are not working with a transportation provider, however; we are looking. We will update the site as soon as that happens.
That logo is adorable. Do you have tee-shirts for purchase?
We sure do! Our Mommy-T's are $25.00. All proceeds go to sponsoring Moms in Cancer Treatment. The logo is always hot-pink, but the shirt can be purchased in white, black, and chocolate.
